Price and usage regulations for the use of 460L crates belonging to Pack and Sea.

Applicable from 1 January 2025

1. Application.

Crates belonging to Pack and Sea A/S may only be used in connection with fishing, sale, distribution and storage of fish and shellfish. Crates cannot be reused during the rental period. The fee covers one unloading within a rental period.

2. Registration of user.

In connection with the delivery of crates belonging to Pack and Sea, the crates are checked for damage and the user is registered by scanning.

3. Sale of fish at auctions in DK.

In connection with sale of sea-packed fish and shellfish at auctions, DKK 40.00 per crate will be charged by the auction house.

4. Direct unloadings.

Contract unloadings are regarded as sale at auction. The vessel has the responsibility to inform the number of unloaded crates to Pack and Sea or hand over the responsibility for this to the recipient of the crates. The total rent for vessel and recipient per crate is DKK 70.00.

5. Unloading and sales abroad.

The vessel is responsible for informing Pack and Sea about the number and payment of renting crates. If the crates are used at sale, the vessel is charged DKK 70.00. The vessel is responsible for the crates until they are returned.

6. Returning crates abroad.

When returning crates abroad, Pack and Sea will charge any extra costs for washing, collection and return transport. If a crate is not returned within 8 weeks, a re-rental fee of DKK 40.00 per week will be charged from week 9 until the crate is paid for. New price DKK 3,400.00.

7. Crates

In the event of damage to the crate, Pack and Sea may charge compensation.

8. Property rights.

Pack and Sea retains ownership of Pack and Sea items at all times. No refunds will be given at the return of items. In general. Provisions regarding payment deadlines, interest accrual, etc. appear from the invoices sent out. The prices listed may be adjusted by decision of the Board of Directors, and the current version will be available on the website www.packandsea.dk

Purchasers and exporters

Price and usage regulations for the use of 460L crates belonging to Pack and Sea.

Applicable from 1 January 2025

1. Registration.

When purchasing fish and shellfish in Pack and Sea crates, these are scanned at the auction house, and the purchaser is then responsible for the rented crate in accordance with these regulations. Crates returned to Pack and Sea A/S are scanned, whereby the responsible lessee/company is relieved of responsibility and the rental stops.

2. Fees.

When using crates belonging to Pack and Sea, the user shall pay the following fees:

2.1. Rent for crates is calculated weekly from date of purchase. Rent for crates for the 1st week (7 days incl. the purchase date) amounts to DKK 30.00 per crate. When buying at auctions, the rent for the 1st week will be collected by the auction house.

2.2. Rent for crates from the second week until the crate is paid for is DKK 40.00 per crate per commenced week. Pack and Sea collects the rent from week 2 and retains ownership, cf. section 8, which is why crates must always be returned.

2.3. No refund will be granted at the return of the crates.

3. Rescanning.

Crates cannot/may not be rescanned.

4. Export of crates.

Pack and Sea A/S has collection centres abroad. When returning crates abroad Pack and Sea A/S charges any extra costs for handling and return transport. Only the return of crates to a collection centre approved by Pack and Sea A/S is equated with returning of crates according to paragraph 5.

5. Returning of crates.

Companies that utilises crates belonging to Pack and Sea A/S shall be exempt only for financial responsibility pursuant to these regulation, when the crate is returned and scanned at a collection centre approved by Pack and Sea A/S. Delivery and pick-up of crates must be agreed locally.
